PHOTOS FROM EVENTS

Haiku Path Inauguration
Saturday, August 17 at 4:00 p.m.

Karl Young, in full costum of the Japanese monk, playing the shakuhachi as he leads the visitors from the Art Center to the path of haiku stones.

View of the beginning of the path at the far edge of the DePrima Terrace.

Visitors passing the first stone. Above then are the tanzaku with haiku written on them that swung in the breeze seeming to bless the whole event.

Karl, deep in the woods, near the stage where Laura Leigh read haiku, feed the group her home sushi, soup and sake.

Back in the foyer where the Art in the Redwood entries are shown and, where one can see the path through the window.

Thanks to Harmony for taking photos while doing so much else on a busy day.
